elitism. yeah, i feel that this belief does exist.
shall make no comments about the society in general.
at the individual level, i have witnessed some occasions.
people in the first class.. in my humble, neighbourhood college..
"this lecturer sucks. he cannot even teach. i will do a better job.", "i have just wasted 4 hours of my time in school.", "it's so simple." and blar blar blar.
every lecture, they will make stupid comments like how easy something was. how stupid and unclear the lecturer was. how smart you are.
my alma matar. we - 4a'06 was the first class in our cohort too. did we show such snobbishness? did we criticize any teachers? the way your degrading comments were made, i feel they were too much.
teachers from your college, your second home, your second parents, as most would say, and you had to show such affront.
as what yeap jun said, some people can argue that the shit that landed on his head is such a blessing, a gift from God. my foot.
as what mr teoh always tell me last time, if you are blessed with the brains, please help other less fortunate people around you. the way you all behaved, i think anyone who goes to you for help will just be lampooned at.
