yes. i have disgraced the college......

know what? today i went for the temasek seminar.

well. i have just finished typing out an email of what actually made me malu. and lin will have the honour of reading it haha. kinda tiring to repeat it all over again in detail? haha.

anyway, just the gist. i posted a stupid question to the minister. before i went to the mic, i've actually told mr yong what i was going to ask. he didn't know what my question meant and thus did not comment. and guess what. after guitar today, i asked the vice principal my question. she gave me a very definite answer N-O. haha.

during the minister mingling question earlier with the minister, i rasied one question too. and that was quite a relevant question. haha. my sole purpose in asking questions was really just to show these people that SR isn't like what they imagine. we have students who can think, who can contribute. future leaders of singapore do not have to necessarily come from the top 5 jcs. no doubt, they really ask a lot of questions, they have high IQ, they can think, but so what? haha. i guess this line of division exists everywhere. one people, one nation, one singapore. haha. look at those army officers. perfect english they speak, great leaders showing initiatives and it's almost like "wow you come from the top 5 jcs? i can see your future shining really brightly.."

haha. elitism as what i have mentioned before. they are all rounders. they are involved in everything, they can initiate anything, and they always have questions.

actually, everytime i come into contact with people from the top schools, i actually got this inferior kind of feeling? especially when i hear their accent, the english they speak.

english. it's always troubling me. i'm sick of everything that happened today.

i feel malu. i feel stupid. i have disgraced our college. i have. the press was there. they had heard me.. i don't want our school to be labelled as a school who grooms uncertain students who ask stupid questions, who don't get their facts right.

can time turn back? i wanna erase the incident. i will just keep my mouth shut next time..

speaking on a lighter note, my friends are the best. seriously.

hakim. he said, "i don't care what others think but you were great". haha. just what i had needed most at that point in time. encouragment. a really thank you.

and to mr yong, i think he's really nice. whenever i felt malu, i would try to talk a lot to erm distract myself? haha. and after i have spoken, i went to talk with mr yong. so we were practically chatting away after i had my say.

and not to forget. the girls - yuan, winnie, joycelin, xin yi. hehe. thanks for making me feel better man.

and also, seok han and yan ting. hehe.

i feel so comfortable talking to my teachers, my friends, using my language - singlish. singlish rocks! i just feel so much closer to someone who speaks singlish. but that is only because i cannot speak perfect english.

well, i guess fellow mates of the college, let's strive for the very best for our college ok. show to those people. show to the press. don't wanna interview the bottom 5 colleges? you shall see.
