forgoed the chance to have dinner with my family and relatives. hehe. anyway, they arranged for that thing last minute. so, dined with mr gek yesterday, together with sec sch buds =D
car came to my house and waited for me. after that, we went to take the train and alighted at little india. then, mrs tan called and told car she was not coming. next, she asked car to pass the phone to me. said that she got her facts mixed up, but still could not come because of something else. hehe. june holidays bah.
then, walked to bugis mrt station. elaine said she was the earliest, surprisingly. 2nd goes to mr gek, who said that he did not drive. hey, no, he bluffed us! he did drive! 3rd goes to G & H and terry. 4th, car and i. 5th flora. 6th buuny and 7th qiao meng. and after waiting for a little while more, all of us decided to leave for the place first as we do not know how long the other people will take. went to the "zu cao" store behind bugis juction.
on our way there, i forgot for what purpose. penguin and i went high. i chased after her, leaving the others slowly walking behind. no fair lor. she was wearing sports shoes.
so, we had pineapple rice, hor fun, kang kong, fish, my favourite tie ban tofu, cereal prawns and seafood and VEGETABLE soup, and i think that's about there. oh ya, halfway through, damian, newman and poh jing came. we ordered BIG dishes for all. total cost amounted to $124.30. i calculated that each person needs to pay $12, when there were only 9 people we should collect the money from. hehe. i cannot do my sums - thrown my maths teacher's face =X
walked back to bugis junction. plan was to push terry into the water fountain. somehow or rather, terry overheard that, and mission failed. hehe. penguin was dragged into the fountain. and then i was dragged in as well. fun =D we were drenched. hehe. after that, we tried to sabotage flora. dragged her all the way in. then i was so suay. the water gushed out from the hole and shot me. fortunately, i was wearing my specs. if not, my lens are bound to fall off.
then, the girls went to shop for a little while in bugis junction. bought an identical pencial case as car. hehe. after that, we walked a while. saw that dj. and saw cai ying. cai ying was like screaming. haha. she had forgotten the trip with mr gek.
hmmm. 4a'06, we go back and collect the o level certificatate together ok?

damn bloody disappointed. yeah i know. srge.we are not strong.it's like yygc 2 years ago lor.miracle that we got silver. but then again, for yygc, that was our first syf. and there was no previous batch who has gone for the syf before us.for srge, there was the previous batch. silver ensmeble.and srge's previous batch.it's like yygc's current batch.so, we basically cried in year 2005 for yygc.tears of joy.haha. i, cried for 2 hours.stop then start. stop then start.it was really. such wonderful joy.that little hint of happiness that filled your heart.it's damn shuang.but what about now?yygc.tears.of true sadness. aim was to get gold. AND YOU ALL DEFINITELY HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO GET GOLD!!!! EVEN THE PROFESSIONALS SAY SO!!! JUDGES JUST WHAT IS WRONG? ONE YEAR, YOU FOCUS ON THE TECHNICAL ASPECTS. THE NEXT YEAR YOU FOCUS ON FEEL AND STUFF. IF TECHNICAL IS ALL YOU WANT, I HAVE NOTHING MORE TO SAY. LET US ALL WITHDRAW FROM FUTURE SYFs.....arghs. back to the stuff. it's the same routine each year. i will pen down in great detail. of THE DAY. 19th april 2007. FYI, all that i'm going to pen down here will be on srge.to begin, it's a bad year for an SYF to happen. This is true for the J2s. Studies. yeah, of course they should study. they have common tests! but... at the expanse of the usual guitar practices. hmmm. maybe i will do this someday bah....well anyway, the college should have postponed the common tests!so, let's get into the real stuff.i woke up today. not really excited like 2 years ago. went school. bloody blar. have lessons. took that stupid GP test. i will flunk badly. i seriously don't know what to write. arghs. don't wish to pen down the academic part sia. sucks man. after GP, went straight for guitar. wah..really, guitar is the factor that keeps me going in a jc now. i hope the 12th srge will be the same. please let it be the same. i wish i wish. if there's God, please answer my prayer.haha. only the frequent members were there. after a while, gorilla came as well. tim and jm helped me push that sciccors all the way into the earth wire hole.so that i could charge my batteries for that camera. hehe. there was no serious playing. the whole ensmeble was not here.so, the few of us just practised. after a little while, we carried our guitars to LT 4. on the way there, i saw a guitar member. she was studying. so yeah, we went. halfway through, i went to look for mr neo. in the staff room, saw mr yang. he told me to get into the chem lecture hall fast and he is locking the door soon. i told him SYF. and yeah, i'm free to leave. hehe. and he promised to give me personal coaching in what was going to be lectured. thank you so much =)had tuna mayo for lunch. =) saw s10's people. luckily, they didn't see me with my costume on. after that, gorilla and i went back to lt 4. went with the rest to change into our costumes. it was so loose at some part of the dress, thankfully, i've got mei nu and cun cai's safety pin. =)then, went back lt 4. mr yang's chem department 3 females teachers were there. they helped us apply the make up. haha. actually. what a joke la. the whole srge. and none of the girls know how to make up. to be honest, i know. i've went for lessons before you know. but have not experimented it on anybody. so, didn't dare to help them with that. and thanks to steamed fish for helping the girls to tie the scorpion hairstyle =) seniors said i looked cute =D but, i think it's like acting cute. hehe. after that, received jason's sms. yygc. silver. OMG. silver. WTH. silver. I can't believe it. if yygc gets silver, what will srge get? it's like i'm bringing bad luck to the ensemble i'm in lor. haha. 4 GOHs 2 Bronzes. 12 silvers. 2 golds. and what about mr yeo's other schools? westwood - silver. loyang - bronze. loyang was a first timer. read hwee min's blog. almost everyone cried. i can imagine the scene. when i heard that, after a while i was really saddened as well. but this is reality. so cheer up yygc's guitarists and percusionists.so, we played the syf pieces to thank the teachers. wah. i'd actually made mistakes. to think i will be going syf in a few hours' time. and. our dress. it's so slippery. the guitar kept falling down. GRRR.then, mr yeo came in. together with ah bian. his whole face. damn disappointed. he literally sian diao. he told us to just enjoy. he also does not care anymore. i know. he has pinned the highest hope on yygc. to think we got a silver. we have lost technically. but this is beyond our control man. errm..perhaps i should stop saying we for yygc . well. they then...after a while, cong cong and danzj came. and the 10th srge president and member bah. we did some touch up.Finally, the hour when we've been waiting for, came. SRGE. here we go!!! took a lot of photos before we set off. mr yang knows about photography. so haha it's such good fortune to have him. hehe. on the bus, laughter, fun. hehe. i love the ensemble. hehe. they sang my song, that "Quien Sera Sera (pronounced as my name)" hehe. gorilla asked me why and i said i do not know....hmmm...time seemed to pass really fast. very soon, we've passed by MOM, manpower's ministry. haha. 2 years ago, i said i was the minster of manpower for all marias of yygc because of that building. hehe. sweet memories.stood at the place. wow. 2 years ago. the competition. what people see us as. the sweat. the unahppiness. the tears. the joy. what a historic place. SCH. i can remember what has happened two years ago. on stage. very vividly. i know. where will the judges be. just that i do not know exactly the number of viewers seated right there. saw my ex 2nd instructor. the first president of srge. waved at him. thought he saw me. but he did not wave back. haha. you are our senior. and yet you have not even come back once to visit us.SGH! G and H finally came! handed them the tickets. took a photo. and then they went off to sit down. and finally. we were there. after hwa chong, it will be us. srge. we stood there looking at the hwa chong poeple. and they looking at us. they made comments about us. and we did the same too. hehe. i remembered their instrutor. i saw him 2 years ago. then. finally we watched that tv. of that school playing. damn zai. techincally, they are really good. finally.it was our turn. i've actually forgotten that we will just be going on stage. i thought we were going to another room to wait first. haha. so, when the door opened, and i saw the audience. panicked a little. but quickly recovered. all the to us, please. 2nd row walked in. then 1st row. i was nervous already. all along, i thought i can relax. but, wah. so much more audience. was scared. didn't put my hand on the "hum". but in the end, i did still put. then the song begins. tried to smile. but when i'm focusing on my guitar, my smile just faded. i was nervous!! hehe. first song ended. eyes roamed around for SGH. cannot see them. didn't play well for summer. cong cong said, the piano couldn't really blend in. OMG. then, 2nd song. historia. that was our better song. one of the percusionists was too nervous. even mucus can tell that she was not playing to the beat. i played some wrong parts also. tried to show i'm enjoying the music. but, it's so difficult to put on a false front. so yeah. ended. mr yeo bowed. we were led out. principal came to shake each and everyone of our hands. i was on the phone so couldn't ask him hw did he think. hehe. actually, deep in my heart. at that point, i felt like crying. tears just got themselves up into my eyes. i don't wanna bronze. i don't wanna COP. in my heart, i still want a gold. earlier, mr ang even said that if we cannot get a gold, cannot come back. hehe. sad. i know mr yeo is sad also. then made to go in. waited for a very long time. i was very nervous. iw kept turning my scarf. asked those seniors in front of me to record the results. they all refused. GRRR. jason wanted to hear. i'm sorry jason. wow. so many gold with hounours. then blar blar blar. and finally srjc. silver. haiz. no cheers. afterwards, we went outside. the principal asked if we would like to do the srjc's cheer. and so, the ogls led us. hehe. shouted damn loudly. we wanna rock the hall!took photo with cong cong. don't know when we will meet again lor. wanted to take with danzj but the bus was waiting sadly. haha. and yeah, so went off.on the bus, so much fun. we sang. we crapped. we discussed of the upcoming events. srge is such a fun ensemble. and then, mr chong has to spoil the whole thing. reminded the j2s to study for their h1 tomorrow. hehe. blar blar blar. human chain. kept guitars. and yeah, me, daryl, jm, meow, tim went to eat. i wanted yoshi. then found the food too ex. then went mac. actually, it's the same lor. i do not know how to count man at that instant. after dinner, we had like a mini discussion.why did we get silver. various factors. haha. 12th srge! we must learn from the mistakes of our seniors! i hope we will be bonded, as just ONE whole ensemble. please let this happen.our concert - 18th may 2007. my friends please come. and do suggest what songs you all would like to hear! =Dand to mr yeo, cheer up man. hmmm. 2 years ago, he was sad because sr got a silver. this year, he is sad because yy gt a silver. 2009 SYF. i will help both schools out. my promise =)and thanks to winnie for her lucky sweet, and all those who have wished me either verbally or sms. thank you so much.hehe. kept laughing at the band the other time. now my guitar suffers the same fate. but hey no, i believe we still got higher marks than you all. bleahs.Labels: syf 2007
