"you can definitely do much better". all these while, i have been telling myself that. hmmm. though it's important to believe in yourself, it definitely makes the statement much more reassuring if others tell you that. would like to thank mr ang. it has been a longggg time that any teacher actually said they believe in me, on an individual basis. i feel quite touched. and joycelin and stephan. in this tough journey, i really appreciate your efforts in motivating me. we shall work hard together =)i actually asked myself. am i stupid?haha. i did study for the chemistry test. not very hard on the last day before the test. but i think should be able to at least pass? so, am i stupid to fail it? and to get a score that even people who did not study beat me?ha.with hard work, you may not suceed. without hard work, you definitely would not succeed.guess that life will just get more stressful as we age.---------------------------------------------------------------------------the problem with this college is that we need to study, thus we cannot spend a lot of time on cca.the problem of forgoing cca time for studies has been brought up to me many times. you know everytime people tell me, "i need to study", i thought, " so do i". i do complain at times, human nature i guess. but still, let us grumble a little and come for our practices ok.i love this college.even much more than my secondary school.although i prefer the teachers in general in yy.well. everyone in all the colleges need to study.but i feel that they have quite a number of more academically-able students there.this is why, they can spend more time on cca.more time as in put in more hours to practise, to really become very professional in their playing.i'm not saying that they do not need to study.and i don't mean in any way to bring down my college.just like what the P said, we got to recognize the fact that we are not as able as some colleges, in terms of the number of students who are more academically inclined.by that, i mean in the sense that some students in some colleges can grasp the concepts much faster than most of us here, thus they can devote the same amount of time to studies as to guitar. and so studies and cca can improve. also, their cca may have recruited a significant number of players who have musical background. therefore, practices are perhaps easier to handle?haha. by this qualification, my point is more substaniated? joycelin, picking up your style haha.well, people forgoing cca time to study is the challenge that every cca faces.of course, perhaps if all of us planned our time well, we can go all out for CCAs, and doing well in studies.the opportunity cost that follows will therefore be a decrease in leisure time. QOL decreases as a result. haha. is economic growth always desirable then? but then again, i think the point about ccas having no direction resulting in members not attending, is a perfectly valid reason. hope the next batch would be better.the 12th got to set some standards man.belief.process.end product.the tedious process.the radical changes.hope...must...hope....arghs..try....STUDIES + GUITAR = SCORE IN As + TOP NOTCH GUITAR ENSEMBLE + FUN difficult in the short run.and mr yeo,
though the new instructors are in no way worse,
i miss your lessons.
change is the only constant in life..
hmmm.
jiayou guitar ensmeble! jiayou 2S08!
we will all motivate each other along the way!
we shall prevail...
