IT'S OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!
i just admire people who are so well versed in arts, especially in the language of english. and to add on, he was a Science student to begin with!!
he is like the king of all trades!
how can anyone get any smarter???
SO OMG!
here we are struggling to get into the uni, and there he is, degrees after degrees, and if that's not enough, double degrees each time..
SO OMG RIGHT!
is God ever fair? is it nature or nurture?
he always tells me to work harder, to use my brain more. and implied that i could be like him. is it really about working hard? i don't think he worked very hard. a party-goer. a leader of an active cca. editor. sportsman.
i wasted a lot of time in primary school, doing nothing. i wish i have read more books. now i am, girl of 18, neither proficient in english nor chinese. what a joke. secondary school. i used the wrong study method. for the whole 4 years i guess.
now.. i don't know.. very difficult to switch to the correct one.
new education minister, i would just like to say, please change the education system to such a way that will groom students in neighbourhood schools to be more well versed in current affairs and languages.
whenever i write my GP essays, i get so fed up with myself. the inability to put across my ideas. what lousy expressions. it's always the same few words.
arghs.
well anyway, going for xinyi's concert later! hoho. and the shock pen was so fun! i shocked almost everyone i knew! yay!
mr gek's birthday on wednesday.. should i pon my cca?
haha. this coming from me yeah..
i won't pon la. although i really feel like going back to my alma matar...
arghs.
we are here, spending a significant lesser amount of time with people we love, and there elitists leading an all so wonderful time, as though education in jc is just like kindergarten. as though education in uni is just a little step harder.
"where you are born makes a difference to your life?" i agree absolutely.
